MySpace is the biggest and some would say the best social networking site on the internet. It was started back in August 2003 by eUniverse. What started out as a social site for employees at eUniverse quickly exploded into a worldwide epidemic of sorts.

Users can now create profiles where they can change the layouts and graphics. Each profile is run in the way a website would be run and can be updated and configured to the owners liking. You can customize your profile or as many call them MySpace sites with these layouts and graphics. You can also create and run your own blog. You can customize your profile with HTML which is a form of programming used to change the way website looks.

You can do many things with MySpace like send out bulletins to everyone on your friends list. You can attach music to your site so that it starts to play when someone visits your page. You can allow for comments on you page. These comments can be for anyone to make or you can set them to be moderated so you have to approve each one before it is posted.

MySpace is a great way to have you own web site that you can change with different layouts and cool graphics. Some layouts are controversial but that is what makes this site great. It gives everyone the right to have their own space, their "MySpace" on the internet. It started the social networking scene and will be around for a very long time.
